The temperature inside the instrument is higher than the ambient temperature due 
to the heat generated by the lamp. Excessive temperature might cause the lamp to 
burn out prematurely. DS3 / F is equipped with a cooling system that helps to keep 
the internal temperature below the limit of 55 °C. Optimally, the lamp temperature 
should be stable and around 35-40 °C. If the temperature rises above 40 °C the 
cooling liquid level should be checked.
