Port LEDs
The Fortress Bridge’s Ethernet ports—including those for the
LAN switch, numbered

, and for the
WAN
port—are
each equipped with two LEDs.
The
Lnk/Act
(link/activity) LEDs are located in the upper left
corner of each LAN switch port and to the left of the WAN
port. They indicate when a link has been established for the
port (solid green) and show data activity on the link
(irregular flashing green).
The
POE
LED in the upper right corner of each LAN switch
port does not apply to version 2.6.
x
of the Fortress Bridge
firmware. It is reserved for future support for Bridge Power
over Ethernet (PoE) power sourcing equipment (PSE)
functionality.
The
Pwr
LED to the left of the WAN port illuminates
whenever the Bridge is powered up—whether the source of
power is PoE PSE or the +48V DC power inlet.
