develop maximum adhesion to the surface.

Failure to install this product at the proper temperature or allow adequate curing time before

use is not covered under warranty.

INSTALLATION

1.

Be sure that the hood is clean and dry. Release the hood latch (it is not necessary to open the hood of the vehicle).

2.

To attach the three loose halves of the pedestal clips to the hood, start by wiping the mounting areas with the adhesion promoter as
shown below in Figures # 1 and 3. Allow to dry. Peel the backing from the tape on the back of the pedestal and make sure to position
the open end of the clip towards the grill with the outer clips centered over the outer vertical bar in the grill as shown. Once the
pedestals are in place, push down on the flange area to make sure that all the tape is in full contact with the hood.

3.

Center the deflector on the hood.  All of the pedestal clips attach to the vehicle at the same time. Slide the deflector towards the front of
the car until the pedestal clips drop over each other; push the deflector back to engage the pedestal clips with each other.

4.

Peel the anti-abrasion film pads from the backing and stick them to the hood, centered underneath each hole in the deflector, by folding
the anti-abrasion film pads in half over the edge of the hood to cover at least ½” of the underside of the hood.

See Figure # 2.

5.

Slide the ‘C’ clips over the edge of the hood in line with the holes in the deflector. Be sure that the ‘C’ clips are well seated against the
hood; it may be necessary to tap on the clips.

 See Figure # 2.

6.

Be sure that the hole in the top of the clips lines up in the hole in the deflector, then tighten the # 6 x 3/8” screws through the deflector
and into the top part of the ‘C’ clips.

Do not over tighten.

 See Figure # 2.

7.

Install the bumpons as shown in Figure # 3.

Attention: The bumpons must be installed on the hood not the deflector!!!!

If the

bumpons are installed on the deflector they will wear through the paint.

8.

Tighten the # 4 x 3/16” screws into the back of the ‘C’ clips.

Do not over tighten.

Note: Do not pull on the deflector when opening or closing the hood.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Clean the deflector with a mild soap and water solution or plastic cleaner only. Do not use chemicals or solvents.

Periodically check to make sure that the bumpons are in place and that the deflector is secure.

Avoid using automatic car washes.

 Do not

pull on the deflector when opening or closing the hood.
