3.8.1   Deleting the Non Co-located Services

There are several steps involved in changing the non co-located services.

3.8.1.1   Administer Down the Services

Administer down the LECS.

Edit the LECS.CFG File

NOTE

Before you edit the LECS.CFG file, you may wish
to back it up to a host using the 

oper

 

flash

 

put

command. If you are using TFTP as the transfer
protocol (this is the default), the remote host to
which the FLASH file will be sent must be
running the TFTP server code and must have  an
empty file in the 

/tftpboot

 directory on the

remote host to receive the FLASH file. See
Chapter 3 in the ATM Management Interface
(AMI) Manual for more information. If you are
using FTP as the transfer protocol, you only need
to enter the command shown below to perform
the transfer.
