Refrigerant oil in the air conditioning
system
The air conditioning system is filled with re-
frigerant oil. The sign on the air conditioning
system compressor provides information
about the type and quantity of the refriger-
ant oil used

WARNING
For safety reasons, the air conditioning
system must be serviced only by
qualified
personnel.
NOTICE
Never replace or repair the evaporator in
the air conditioning system with replace-
ment parts from end-of-life vehicles or
from recycling sources.
Infotainment system and an-
tennas
The vehicle aerials are located in the exteri-
or mirrors and on the roof. If any metallic
chrome-plated trim, such as chrome-plat-
ed design caps, is retrofitted to the exterior
mirrors, you may experience problems with
the radio, mobile telephone and navigation
services or they may lose the ability to
transmit and receive signals completely.
NOTICE
A retrofitted Infotainment system must be
compatible with the aerial amplifier fitted
as standard in the vehicle. The aerial ampli-
fier could otherwise be damaged.
Component protection
Some electronic components and con-
trol units are
fitted with component
protection as standard, e.g. the Info-
tainment system.
The component protection permits a corre-
spondingly
qualified workshop to legiti-
mately install or replace components and
control units.
The component protection prevents the
factory-supplied components from being
operated without restrictions outside the
vehicle in the following situations:
— Installation in other vehicles, e.g.
after
theft.
— Operation of components outside the ve-
hicle.
If a text message about component pro-
tection appears in the display of the instru-
ment cluster or the screen of the Infotain-
ment system, go to a correspondingly
qualified workshop.
