Charging System
It will illuminate when the 12 volt
battery is not charging correctly.
This indicates a problem with the
electrical system or a related component.
See an authorized dealer as soon as
possible.
High Voltage Battery Low or
Depleted
Illuminates amber in color when
the high voltage battery level is
low. A message may also be
displayed suggesting you reduce your
usage of the climate control.
Illuminates red in color when the battery
level is depleted. Your vehicle must be
charged before it will operate. If you are
driving when this occurs and cannot make
it to a charge point, stop your vehicle in a
safe place and have it towed to a charge
point.
Limited Performance Indicator
Illuminates amber in color to
indicate limited vehicle
performance due to a cold or hot
battery. A message will be shown in the
instrument cluster.
Illuminates red in color to indicate severely
limited vehicle performance due to a cold
or hot battery. A message will be shown in
the instrument cluster. Drive with caution.
Keep your vehicle plugged in when not in
use to maintain battery temperature.
Motor Coolant Overheat Warning
Lamp
Illuminates when the motor
cooling system is overheating.
Stop your vehicle in a safe place
and see an authorized dealer as soon as
possible.
Powertrain Malfunction or
Reduced Power Warning Lamp
Illuminates when there is a
powertrain or high voltage
charge system malfunction. If it
remains on or continues to flash, see an
authorized dealer as soon as possible.
Ready to Drive Indicator
Illuminates when your vehicle is
ready to drive. A message may
display confirming your vehicle
is ready to drive. Alternatively a message
regarding budget may display.
Stop Safely Warning Lamp
Indicates an electrical
component fault or failure that
will cause your vehicle to shut
down or enter a limited performance
mode. A message may also be shown in
the instrument cluster.
Vehicle Plugged In
Illuminates when your vehicle is
plugged in. A message may also
be shown in the instrument
cluster after attempting to start your
vehicle.
