The following table lists acceptable tire
sizes for winter tires. Tire speed and load
ratings should match those of the originally
equipped tires as closely as possible. If it
is required to fit winter tires with a speed
rating less than the original equipment tires
(to fit snow chains, for example), be aware
of the maximum speed rating for the tire
and never exceed.

TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING
SYSTEM
Tire Pressure Monitoring System
Reset Procedure
You must perform the tire pressure
monitoring system reset procedure after
each tire rotation on vehicles with different
recommended front and rear tire pressures.
This procedure provides the tire pressure
monitoring system with the location of
each tire so it can detect and properly warn
of low tire pressures.
WARNING
To determine the required
pressure(s) for your vehicle, see the
Safety Compliance Certification
Label (affixed to either the door hinge
pillar, door-latch post, or the door edge
that meets the door-latch post, next to the
driver's seating position), or Tire Label
located on the B-Pillar or the edge of the
driver's door.
System reset tips:
•
To reduce the chances of interference
from another vehicle, perform the
system reset procedure at least three
feet (one meter) away from another
Ford Motor Company vehicle
undergoing the system reset procedure
at the same time.
•
Do not wait more than two minutes
between resetting each tire sensor or
the system will time-out and you will
need to repeat the entire procedure on
all four wheels.
•
A double horn will sound indicating the
need to repeat the procedure.
Performing the System Reset
Procedure
Read the entire procedure before
attempting.
1.
Drive the vehicle above 20 mph (32
km/h) for at least two minutes, then
park in a safe location where you can
easily get to all four tires and have
access to an air pump.
2. Place the ignition in the off position and
keep the key in the ignition (vehicles
with keys only).
3. Turn the ignition on.
