4-6. Power Supply
Stand by power is activated in the USF-212S power supply unit when the AC cable is inserted.
When the front switch of the USF-212PS Power Supply unit is turned off, the DC supply to
USF-212S is disconnected. Redundant operation is available by installing an optional USF-212PS
power supply unit.

When an optional USF-212PS is not installed, a blank panel is used to cover the blank power
supply unit 2 (PS2) slot.
NOTE
Turn on the power supply switch on the front panel after connecting the power supply cable.
Turn on both the dedicated and redundant power supply units. If only one power supply unit is
turned on, redundant power will not be enabled if power fails in a power supply unit.
