How to set the motion detection area
1) Open the MOTION DETECT AREA menu.
2) Set the motion detection area while viewing the bounding box that is displayed on the
output screen. (See the below figure.)
Effective use of Motion detection area
IMPORTANT
The motion detection area may not be set smaller than 32(H) x 32(V).
The bounding box that is displayed on the VIDEO OUT output while setting the motion
detection area will disappear when the setting is complete.

Set the motion detection area to exclude the
title and date/time displays from the detection.
If there is an area that has a constantly moving
object, exclude the area from the detection in
order not to affect the shake correction.
