When the FOMA terminal is open, the vertical
screen appears. With the FOMA terminal closed,
the horizontal screen appears. To switch
between the vertical and horizontal screens,

message appears to indicate that the channel
list is updated. Depending on the information

there may be block noises in images, or the image or
data may not be displayed on the screen.

operations, the confirmation screens about the usage

Operations available during 1Seg viewing
The following operations are available on the TV
screen (in the TV mode).
■ Changing the channel to the previous or next:

■ Selecting a channel by a direct key: Press the
key corresponding to the remote control

■ Searching for an available channel and
switching to it (channel search):

Channels are searched in the order of
frequencies. When an available channel is
detected, the channel is switched automatically.

To register the detected channel to the channel
list being in use:

The channel is registered to the smallest
unused remote control number from 13 to 62. If
the channel is already registered, however, the
remote control number is not changed.

If the channel information is not obtained, the
channel cannot be registered.
