Features
1. Adopts a PIR motion sensor that can detect max. 4 meters. When it detects a moving human body, the module
automatically plays a sound in random among the multiple sounds stored in the memory.
2. Built-in a 8MBytes(64Mbits) SPI flash memory and supports max. 32GB micro SD card as well(normally the
on-board flash memory is large enough).
3. Update audio files to the flash memory directly via the micro USB port connecting with computer. The on-board flash
memory works as a USB flash drive on computer.
4. Equipped with a good quality speaker hidden in box. The sound volume is adjustable through the blue potentiometer.
5. Equipped with a 3.5mm audio jack for stereo output that can drive a headphone directly or connect with an external
amplifier.
6. 3.7V-5V DC power input. Also possible to use a phone charger(5V 1A power adapter) to supply power to the module
via the micro USB socket.
7. PCB size: 40mmx40mm
8. Diameter of the speaker box: 58mm
Height of the speaker box: 28mm
Technical Parameters
1. Working voltage: 3.7-5V DC
2. Working current: ≤200mA
3. Power Consumption: ≤3W
4. On-board flash memory size: 8MBytes(64Mbits)
5. Audio format: MP3 or WAV
6. Distance of PIR detection: 0-4 meters
7. Detection angle: 120 degrees
Audio Files Uploading/Updating
Firstly please check the size of the sound file/files that need to be uploaded. If the size is smaller than 8MB, please
directly upload them into the built-in flash memory. If the size is larger than 8MB, please use a micro SD card instead.
Please refer to the steps below when you upload sound files into the built-in flash memory.
1. Steps for uploading sound files into the built-in flash memory
1). Connect the board with computer through a USB cable with micro USB plug. When the connection is done, you will
see a removable disk/USB flash drive(simulated) on computer.
2). Double click the removable disk/USB flash drive(simulated), and you will see there is a folder “01” and a
configuration file “read.cfg” as below.
Sound files are saved in the folder 01. See as below.
Don’t delete this config file
