FLOWRATE A
2.5 CALCULATION
The flowrate is calculated by measuring the time between a number of
pulses, for example 10 pulses. The more pulses measured, the more
accurate the flowrate.
●
This setting directly influences the update time for the analog output
(maximum update 8 times a second). If the output response is too slow,
decrease the number of pulses.
●
The lower the number of pulses, the higher the power consumption of
the unit will be (important for battery powered applications).
●
For low frequency applications (below 10 Hz), do not program more than
10 pulses, otherwise the update time will be very slow. For
high‑frequency applications (above 1 kHz), enter a value of 50 pulses or
more.
●
Keep in mind that values higher than 200 in combination with low
frequencies will result in slow updates of the indicated flowrate and
analog output.
2.6 CUT-OFF
Determines a minimum threshold for the required flow. If during this time
less than XXX pulses are generated as set in
2.5: FLOWRATE A > CALCULATION
,
the flowrate will be displayed as zero.
The cut-off time has to be entered in seconds. The maximum time is 999.9
seconds (approximately 15 minutes).

MENU 3: TOTAL B
For Total, you can only set K-Factor B when
Dual
is selected in
6.5: FLOWMETER > K-FACTOR
.
By default, this variable is set to
Single
(K-Factor A = K-Factor B).
The following setting is not available when
Single
is selected or the automatic unit conversion in
6.6: FLOWMETER > UNITS
is set to
Auto-Vol
or
Auto-Mass
.

TOTAL B
3.1 K-FACTOR
This setting is used to convert the flowmeter pulse signals from pickup B
into a total unit. The
K‑Factor
is based on the number of pulses generated
by the flowmeter per selected measurement unit, as defined in
1.1: TOTAL A >
UNIT
.
The more accurate the
K‑Factor
, the more accurate the system.

MENU 4: FLOWRATE B
For Flowrate, you can only set K-Factor B when
Dual
is selected in
6.5: FLOWMETER > K-FACTOR
.
By default, K-Factor is set to
Single
(K-Factor A = K-Factor B).
The following setting is not available when
Single
is selected or the automatic unit conversion in
6.6: FLOWMETER > UNITS
is set to
Auto-Vol
or
Auto-Mass
.

FLOWRATE B
4.1 K-FACTOR
This setting is used to convert the flowmeter pulse signals from pickup B
into a flowrate unit. The
K‑Factor
is based on the number of pulses
generated by the flowmeter per selected measurement unit, as defined in
2.1: FLOWRATE A > UNIT
.
The more accurate the
K‑Factor
, the more accurate the system.
