7.4 I am unable to get any video from all the cameras
Is the Ethernet cable used to connect the cameras or the video server to the
Fluidmesh a crossover cable?
A standard Ethernet cable does not work to connect an IP camera or a video server
to a Fluidmesh. Make sure that you are using an appropriate
crossover
Ethernet
cable rather than a standard Ethernet cable.
Is the local network properly set-up to forward every packet for the class 5.0.0.0,
1.0.0.0 and 2.0.0.0 to the main gateway(s)?
The LAN that connects the
mesh gateway
to the recording server (NVR or DVR) need
to be configured in such a way that every packet for the class 5.0.0.0, 1.0.0.0, and
2.0.0.0 is forwarded to the Fluidmesh that act as
gateway
for the entire mesh
network.
7.5 I am unable to get any video from some cameras
Is the Ethernet cable used to connect the cameras or the video server to the
Fluidmesh a cross-over cable?
A standard Ethernet cable does not work to connect an IP camera or a video server
to a Fluidmesh unit. Make sure that you are using an appropriate
cross-over
Ethernet
cable rather than a standard Ethernet cable.
Is the Fluidmesh IP address where the cameras are attached present in the routing
table of the gateway?
In case the Fluidmesh IP address is not present in the routing table of the gateway,
the Fluidmesh unit might be powered-off or out of range.
