Install the
FlowCon AHU Wafer
as called
for in the design drawings. INSTALL THE AHU
WAFER HOUSING WITH THE FLOW DIREC-
TIONAL ARROW POINTING IN THE CORRECT
DIRECTION.
The
FlowCon AHU Wafer
(Model Nos.
F386.X.X.B) is available for end connections of
DIN steel flanges from PN10 and up. For valve
sizes 2½” and 3” ANSI steel flanges from class
150 and up are available and for size 2” ANSI
steel flanges class 300 are to be used. Flanges
are not supplied by FlowCon.
Extended
pressure/temperature fittings
(p/t
plugs) are included as standard. Before finger
mounting the p/t plugs in the body tappings, pls.
seal the
threads of the p/t plugs (DO NOT OVER
TIGHTEN).
Inserting the insert:
For FlowCon AHU Wafer bodies size DN50-
DN80 (figure 1), a 3” stainless steel insert (either
standard flow or high capacity) is available. It is
recommended that the o-ring located around the
insert is lubricated with silicone grease, before
the insert is installed into the valve body.
IMPORTANT:
Never use mineral oil or petrol based grease or
oil on the o-ring.
When inserting the insert, be assured to check
the placement of the o-ring. There is no need to
use tools - the insert can be inserted/removed
by the fingers. Once the insert is installed in the
valve body, the retainer clip is fitted to hold the
insert in proper place.
