4.5.

END THE TRAINING SESSION

After the plane is landed, the pilot should observe normal flight procedures to shut down the aircraft.

4.5.1.

Ending The Training Session

When the training session/tutorial is finished, the flight crew should exit the Student Station before Control
Loading is disengaged. The instructor should perform the following procedures.

1) If the Flight Freeze button on the Freezes/Resets page is not illuminated, touch FLIGHT
FREEZE, or press the Flight Freeze push button on the console.

2) The flight crew can now exit the Student Station. Disengage Control Loading by
depressing the green CONTROL LOADING push button on the Hydraulic Control Panel.
The push button will flash amber for a few seconds then illuminate amber, indicating it is off.

3) Select the FREEZES/RESETS button on the Master Collar.

4) Reset aircraft systems and remove all malfunctions entered during the flight by selecting
the TOTAL RESET button and selecting the MALF CLEAR direct entry button on the collar.

5) Report any problems detected with the simulator to a technician.

4.5.2.

Taking Simulation Down

When the tutorial is finished, a learning center technician will remove power from the appropriate systems
and reset computer systems as necessary.
