Preselect Parameters entered for the malfunction before arming. The CLEAR MALFUNCTION button
will cancel the preselect parameters, entered for an armed malfunction, from the system.

The VARIABLE data entry button is used to enter a value for variable malfunctions. When a variable
malfunction is activated, the system will drive to the entered value.

The MALFUNCTION DESCRIPTION overlay button will display an overlay that gives a description of
the selected malfunction.

Close the Preselect Parameters overlay by selecting the OK direct entry button or the "X" in the upper,
right corner of the window.

Malfunction Description

The Malfunction Description overlay is accessed by selecting the MALFUNCTION DESCRIPTION
overlay button on the Preselect Parameters overlay. See Figure 3-59. The Malfunction Description overlay
displays a description of the Malfunction Cause and the Malfunction Effects, for the selected malfunction.
