Maintenance, repairs and conversion work on the drag hose spreader
must be performed only when hydraulic operation is switched off and the
hydraulic connections are decoupled. Secure the tractor to prevent
accidental start-up and rolling away.
8.4.2 Start activation not possible
The start enable cannot be switched on.
Possible cause
Remedy
Device for stopping in an emergency actuated
(towing vehicle shut off)
Find the cause for tripping of the emergency stop
device
Remove the risk
Unlock the emergency stop device; see section
2.9
8.5 Decommissioning
Decommissioning includes the correct deactivation and disconnection of the
connecting and supply parts.
8.5.1 Temporary shutdown
Switch off the machine and all attached assemblies, disconnect the machine; see section 7.
Clean and maintain the machine (see section 8.3).
After a temporary shutdown, a new start-up must take place. For more
information, refer to section 5.
8.5.2 Storage conditions
For short and medium periods (up to 2 years), the machine can be stored without special measures in
the ambient conditions specified in the technical data.
For long-term storage, measures must be taken to prevent corrosion:
1. Thoroughly clean the entire drag hose spreader and all assemblies. Then leave the drag
hose spreader and its assemblies to dry.
2.
Spray the entire attachment with a film of oil.
3.
Park the drag hose spreader in a dry, clean and rust-free place.
We recommend covering the attachment with a tarpaulin to protect it against dust etc.
4.
Deactivate the hydraulic and electrical supplies to the machine. Protect connections.
