Opening the sliding tarpaulin

Undo the elastic tieback on the rear panel.

Release the bar from its retainer at the front of the
trailer.

Rotate the bar in clockwise direction.
Ensure that you pull the strap over to the left side
of the vehicle.

Open the tarpaulin until it is retracted all the way
to the front of the vehicle.

Secure the bar, with the spring bolt, back in its
retainer.

Secure the tieback at the designated fastening
point on the front left side of the vehicle.
(A loose rope poses a safety risk as it could catch
and injure persons when travelling on public
roads.)

Opening the tarpaulin
It is not permitted to unload material without fully uncovering the box body. Otherwise
the sliding tarpaulin may be damaged.
The sliding tarpaulin must be fully closed during travel.
