8.3 Replacing wearing parts

8.3.1 Replace rubber disk elements 5 (5) and/or 6 (6) on types ESNR, ESDR,
ESNW and ESDW
8.3 Replacing wearing parts
Replace the rubber disk elements 5 (5) and/or 6 (6) without moving the coupled machine in
the radial direction.
Procedure
1. Secure the coupling part 3 (3) in position to prevent it from falling.
2. Unscrew the screw connection of the coupling part 3 (3) with the mating part and pull
back the coupling part 3 (3).
3. Unscrew the screw connection (25) and remove the rubber disk element 5 (5) and/or
6 (6) in the radial direction.
4. Install a new rubber disk element 5 (5) and/or 6 (6).
Please observe the information in section Use and storage of the rubber disk elements 5
(5) and/or 6 (6) (Page 77).
When reinstalling the coupling parts please observe the information in chapters Assembling
(Page 27) and Commissioning (Page 39).
8.3.2 Replace rubber disk elements 5 (5) and/or 6 (6) on types ESN and ESD
8.3 Replacing wearing parts
To replace the rubber disk elements 5 (5) and/or 6 (6), move the coupled machines.
Procedure
1. Secure the coupling parts to prevent them from falling.
2. Move the coupled machines apart.
3. Unscrew the screw connection (25) and remove the rubber disk element 5 (5) and/or
6 (6).
4. Install a new rubber disk element 5 (5) and/or 6 (6).

(5) and/or 6 (6) (Page 77).
When reinstalling the coupling parts please observe the information in chapters Assembling
(Page 27) and Commissioning (Page 39).
8.3.3 Replacing rubber disk element 5 (5) on type EST

To replace the rubber disk element 5 (5), follow the instructions in Removing rubber disk ele-
ment 5 (5) on type EST using a TAPER clamping bush with a parallel key (Page 53).
