Cleaning / Replacing Syrup Port O-Rings
The door spout o-rings should be removed and
cleaned when the spout assembly is cleaned.
Also, the o-rings are wear items and will need
to be replaced periodically when worn. Always
keep o-ring spares on hand in the Spare Parts
Kit for replacement.
1. Mix approved detergent with warm water
according to manufacturer’s instructions.
Also prepare approved sanitizer solution
according to manufacturer’s instructions.
2. Remove the dirty or worn o-rings from the
syrup port opening. A small tool may be
needed to remove the o-rings.
3. If the o-rings are worn and need to be
replaced, skip to Step 4. If they simply need
to be cleaned, clean them with a small
brush and detergent water. Rinse
thoroughly.
4. Place the cleaned or replacement o-rings in
approved sanitizer solution and soak for at
least 1 minute.
5. Spray sanitizer solution into the syrup port
and allow to sanitize for at least 1 minute.
6. Apply food-grade lube to the o-rings and
place them inside syrup line opening. A
small tool may be used to ensure the o-
rings are fully seated in the o-ring grooves.
NOTE:
O-RINGS MUST BE COMPLETELY
SEATED TO PREVENT LEAKAGE.
