Remove the suite from the packing, checking that neither the heater nor the power cable has been damaged during transport. Do not operate the
heater if damaged. The accessories are found in a box that is packed at the side of the suite. Your suite is guaranteed for one year from the date of
purchase. In the unlikely event of a breakdown you have access to our customer services team, simply call

Installation of Suite
Where a chimney is not blocked off completely it will cause the heater to cut out during use and do not seal to the wall.
Using as a Floor Standing Fireplace.
The suite must be positioned so that the plug socket is accessible once installed. In the unlikely event of breakdown access must be allowed to the
rear so that the fire maybe serviced, do not seal to the wall. The mains cable must therefore be long enough to allow this. If the removal of the
plug is absolutely necessary for installation, cut off in an area within 100mm only of the plug itself, any further may affect your warranty. It is
important that the chimney is blocked off to prevent airflow problems with the fire. Where a chimney is not blocked off sufficiently, it will cause
the heater to cut out and the flame effect to stop or work inefficiently.
Using as a Hang on the Wall.
The height at which you wish the fix the suite onto the wall is up to you. The wall bracket should be fixed to the wall with the highest point of the
chamfered edge facing forwards and upwards. The corresponding chamfered edge where the suite is to be hung to the wall bracket can be found
across the back of the suite. Once the bracket has been fixed in place, lift and hook the suite onto the upward facing chamfered edge. For tilt
protection a single hole should be visible centrally underneath the suite. A rawl plug and screw are supplied. Mark a hole to be drilled for the rawl
plug, remove suite from the wall, drill the hole, inset the rawl plug, reattach the suite and inset the screw.
Electrical connections
Your appliance comes fitted with a plug that incorporates a 13A fuse. The replacement fuses must be 13A and ASTA approved. If the fuse cover is
lost the plug must not be used until a replacement cover, of the same colour, is obtained from an electrical retailer.
The appliance is fitted with a moulded plug if it is necessary cut off the plug, for any reason, it must be discarded immediately with the fuse
removed. Under no circumstances should any attempt be made to reuse the plug, do not insert into any 13A socket as this could cause a
hazard. If the mains cable is damaged it must be replaced by the manufacturer or an authorised technical service centre.
