Thanks for purchasing our FiT208-S Breath Analyzer, a hand held Digital Alcohol Computer. FiT208-S gives you 

digital 

indication of your breath alcohol content and thus your possible concentration of intoxication. To achieve the high accuracy, 
user should follow the step 8 and the final reading shows on the display together with “AVG” & the “5-memoery bars” flash 
alternatively 
   

Operation instructions

 

1.  Install 3pcs AAA 1.5V

 Alkaline

 battery into the battery compartment (auto-cleaning will automatically activate according to 

the CAUTION manual & refer to page 2-note 1&2) 

 
2.  To begin, wash your mouth with water before using the unit. Abstain from smoking (for 10 minutes) or drinking (for at least 

20 minutes.) 

 
3.  Press MODE key for 0.5 seconds to toggle Real Time clock mode (

RTC

) & Alcohol mode (

DAC

).  

 
4.  Make sure no alcohol residue inside the chamber (Page2, note 3). 

 
5.  Insert the provided blowing tube (or drinking straw) into the gas inlet located on top of the LCD screen. 

 
6.  Press the ST Key for 0.5seconds to activate an approximate 20 seconds sensor-warm-up process. “PH” flashes for about 

4 seconds and then followed by 15-second count down. “READY” displays together with “blow” flashes with beep tone 
when count down to zero and ready to start.   

 
7.  Hold the ST Key, while blowing continuously through the blowing tube for approximately 6 seconds. Stop blowing when 

you hear a ‘beep’ tone and the reading shows on the display.

A measurement of less than 0.15

  BAC will show “LO” 

ii. 

A measurement between 0.15 & 1.5

  BAC will show its digital reading. 

iii. 

A measurement above 1.5

  BAC, “HI” & “NO DRIVING” will flash on the display.

8.  Should repeat step 4) ~ 7) four times. After 5 test samplings, press 

” REV key once to scroll backward the last five pre-test memory 

readings. Press “

” REV key once more and get the 

final average

Alert Signals 

 

FiT208-S is designed to alert user as following: 

Low Level 

For measurement below 0.15‰ BAC, “LO” will be shown on display with GREEN backlight. 

Safety Level 
 

For measurements between Low Level (> 0.15

  BAC) and Pre-alert Level (Warning Level), the 

alcohol concentration level shows on the display with GREEN backlight. 

Pre-alert Level 

For measurements within 0.2

  BAC below the alert point. The analyzer beeps together with “NO 

DRIVING” & “HI” flashes alternatively for 3 times. GREEN & ORANGE backlight exchanges 
alternatively as well. The LCD will keep the red backlight. 

DON’T DRIVE: You are very close to the alert level or you have reached the alert level if take 
tolerance of the unit into account

 

Alert Level 

For measurements equal to or above the alert concentration level, the analyzer beeps together 
with “NO DRIVING” & “HI” flashes alternatively for 15 seconds. ORANGE & RED backlight 
exchanges alternatively. The alcohol concentration level displays and “NO DRIVING” will then 
remain on the LCD with red color backlight. If reading greater than 1.5

  BAC, “NO DRIVING” & 

“HI” will remain on the LCD. Press [MODE] key can stop the alert sound. 

YOU ARE PROHIBITED TO DRIVE since you already exceed the alert level
