6.24 Removal of Belt Tensioner
(a) Follow instructions for removal of the drum and
chassis assembly. (Refer to Section 6.16)
(b) Remove the belt tensioner assembly by pushing
against the spring tension and unclipping from
the rear chassis beam.
A screwdriver can be used to unclip it by
putting the blade through the slot and levering
against the beam.
(c) Lift the top of the belt tensioner assembly clear and
unclip it from the centre chassis beam. Lift clear.
Reassembly
(a) Refit in reverse manner.
