7.5 Motor Removal and Replacement
•
Disconnect the mains supply to Rangehood
•
Remove the chimney covers and remove
Rangehood from wall
•
Remove the lamp holder brackets by removing
the 3 screws per bracket on the rear of the
motor housing (figure 12)
•
Remove the 2 screws on the rear of motor
housing (figure 13)
•
Inside the motor housing remove the 4 screws
(2 on each side) holding the motor (figure 14)
•
Move the motor to the left and slide the power
cord grommet out of the housing (figure 15).
The motor can now be removed from the
motor housing
•
Reassemble in reverse order
