Steps for Installing the Non-Combustible Framing 

 

Place one Horizontal Framing Member below 
the outlet of the upper manifold and secure it 
to the side framing of the enclosure.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

  Install the two Lower Framing Members 

to the top of the fireplace (use 4 SM 
screws).  Extend to the Lower Framing 
Members until they reach the Horizontal 
Framing Member.  Attach using 4 SM 
screws.  Use 4 SD screws on each 
telescoping section to lock the support to 
the proper length.
