Service Procedures

Removing the front panel

You will need to remove the front panel when replacing the ZIP drive or CD-ROM
drive. The following procedure describes how to remove the front panel.

REMOVE

THE

FRONT

PANEL

Make sure you have powered off the Print Controller X4(AR-PE1) and removed all the
cables from the back.

Remove the side panel as described in “To open the Print Controller X4(AR-PE1)” on
page 4-4.

Grasp the front panel and gently detach it from the tray.

Do not pull the front panel away from the tray as the UIB cable is still connected to the
front panel.
