Prior to installing the Ex-Headset-Kit, these instructions and the
operating instructions of the Ex-headset MT53H79B-56 must be
read carefully.
Application
The Ex-Headset-Kit permits the connection of the Ex-headset to
the explosionproof telephone ExResistTel. The Ex-headset im-
proves essentially the communication in ambient noise areas. It
protects against harmful ambient noise. It permits telephone com-
munication during activities where both hands are needed.
Packing Contents
The kit consist of:
– Ex-headset MT53H79B-56 with dynamic receiver insets,
noisecompensating electret nearfield response microphone
and 1 m smooth cord with connecting plug.
– A 14 m long connecting cord with a connecting jack at one
end and with wire-ends with wire-end sleeves at the other end
to connect to the ExResistTel.
– Cable gland (M20x1.5, IP66, EEx e II, -25°C to +60°C) to lead
the connecting cord into the ExResistTel.
– Bracket and screws to hang up the connecting cord and the
Ex-headset.
Mounting and Connection
For the attachment of the bracket there are two built in threaded
bushings in the rear side of the ExResistTel case. The bracket has
mating drill holes through which it can be fastened by means of flat
head screws (see operating manual of the ExResistTel). So if you
want to use the bracket it has to be mounted first on to the rear
side of the ExResistTel. Afterwards the wall mounting of the tele-
phone can take place. To connect the Ex-headset remove one of
the sealing plugs to be found at the bottom part of the ExResistTel
case and screw in the cable gland (M20x1.5, IP66, EEx e II,
-25°C to +60°C) completely. Lead the connecting cord with the wire
ends through the cable gland, fasten the cord with the cable gland
and connect the wire ends (according to the connection table) to
the terminals 5 to 10 in the ExResistTel.

Betriebsanleitung des Headsets MT53H79B-56 (Ex-Kopfgarnitur)
sorgfältig zu lesen.
Anwendung
Das Ex-Kopfhörer-Set ermöglicht den Anschluss der Ex-Kopfgar-
nitur an das explosionsgeschützte Telefon ExResistTel. Die Ex-
Kopfgarnitur verbessert wesentlich die Kommunikation in lärm-
erfüllter Umgebung. Sie schützt vor schädigendem Umgebungs-
lärm. Sie erlaubt Telefon-Kommunikation bei Tätigkeiten bei deren
Verrichtung beide Hände benötigt werden
Verpackungsinhalt
Das Set besteht aus:
– Ex-Kopfgarnitur MT53H79B-56 mit dynamischen Hörkapseln,
geräuschkompensierenden Elentretnahbesprechungsmikrofon
und 1 m glatter Leitung mit Verbindungsstecker.
– 14 m lange Anschlussleitung, mit Verbindungsbuchse zur Ex-Kopf-
garnitur und Kabelende mit Aderendhülsen zum Anklemmen
an das ExResistTel.
– Kabelverschraubung (M20x1.5, IP66, EEx e II, -25°C bis +60°C)
zur Einführung der Anschlussleitung in das ExResistTel.
– Bügel und Schrauben zum Aufhängen der Anschlussleitung
und der Ex-Kopfgarnitur.
Montage und Anschließen
Zur Befestigung des Bügels am ExResistTel sind in der Gehäuse-
rückwand des Telefons zwei Gewindebuchsen eingelassen. Der
Bügel weist entsprechende Bohrungen auf, durch die, mittels
Senkkopfschrauben, eine Befestigung an das Telefon ermöglicht
wird (siehe Betriebsanleitung ExResistTel). Somit muss, bei Ver-
wendung des Bügels, dieser zuerst befestigt werden. Danach
kann die Wandmontage des Telefons erfolgen. Zum Anschließen
der Ex-Kopfgarnitur ist einer der am Telefongehäuse des Ex-
ResistTel befindlichen Verschlussstopfen zu entfernen und durch
eine Kabelverschraubung (M20x1.5, IP66, EEx e II, -25°C bis +60°C)
zu ersetzen. Die Anschlussleitung ist mit den Leitungsenden durch
die Kabelverschraubung durchzuführen und mit der Kabelver-
schraubung zu fixieren. Die Aderenden sind (gemäß Anschluss-
tabelle) an die Klemmen 5 bis 10 im ExResistTel anzuschließen.
