DANGER
Injury or death due to electric shock.
In the event of fault, e.g. wire break or short circuit, the housing may transmit hazardous electric
voltages without the knowledge of the technicians. Touching live parts will result in serious injury or
death.
• Include the product in the equipotential bonding at the protective earth connection of the system.
DANGER
Risk of injury due to uncontrolled movement.
The moving parts of the product move unpredictably and at high speed within the range of motion.
• Before entering the movement range, switch off the power supply or, if necessary, move at low
speed.
DANGER
Risk of injury from unsecured moving parts of the product.
Parts secured with transportation locks break loose and move uncontrollably at high acceleration into
the end position.
• Before energising the product: check that the transportation locks of the moving parts are removed.
DANGER
Risk of injury due to unfastened motor and gear housing.
The unfastened motor and gear housing in the middle motor position will accidentally move with the
connecting shaft. As a result, body parts can be subject to impact and crushed.
• Check that the motor and gear housing is sufficiently fastened to the mounting surface.
CAUTION
Exposed, rotating connecting shaft.
Risk of injury due to retraction or burning of body parts.
• Install protective devices in the area of the connecting shaft, e.g. guard or covering.
