Notes on commissioning

Carry out commissioning with the FCT (Festo Configuration
Tool) software package (see also FCT help system).

4.1.1

Installing and starting the FCT

The FCT is installed on your PC with an installation program.
The plug-in for the Compact Vision System is installed on your
PC together with the installation program of the FCT.

For the Compact Vision System SBOC-M-R1B-H with the
firmware version 2.0 or higher, you will need the following
software versions:

Festo Configuration Tool from version 1.2.1

–

Plug-in “SBO..-M Network” from version 1.2.0

Administrator rights are required for installing the FCT.

Note

The plug-in “SBO..-M Network” version V1.2.0 supports
the following Compact Vision Systems:

SBOC-M-R1B-H: Firmware version from 2.0

SBO..-M-R1B: Firmware version from 1.1

Check with later firmware designs whether an updated
plug-in is available. If necessary, consult Festo.
