The basic power supply unit is connected to mains power via the IEC power socket and the mains switch.
The basic power supply unit includes:
•
A fixed DC power source with ±15 V, 0.8 A
•
An electrically isolated DC power source with +5 V, 100 mA
•
An adjustable DC power source with 0 to 25 V, 0.3 A
•
Two single-phase power sources with 18 V (9 V), 100 mA
•
A 3-phase power source with 12 V
TRMS
, 100 mA, 0.1 Hz, 1 Hz, 50 Hz, 60 Hz
•
A function generator with an output voltage of 0 to 10 V and an output frequency of 1 Hz to 100 kHz
The connectors for the voltage sources and the function generator are laid in parallel for external connection
via 4 and 2 mm safety sockets. Blue LEDs indicate the statuses of the various voltages. All outputs are
protected against short circuits and overloads.
The variable voltages and parameters of the function generator are adjusted with a rotary knob in
combination with a multi-line display.
Two direct/alternating voltages and two direct/alternating currents can be measured via an optional
measuring interface (only with part no. 567321). 2 mm safety plugs are used for the required connections.
Two measured values can be displayed simultaneously (U1/U2, U1/I1, U2/I2 or I1/I2).
The basic power supply unit can be connected to a PC via the USB port. With the help of optional PSU-
Remote software, the basic power supply unit can be controlled from a PC, and measured values can be
read out.
