Dismantling the toothed belt axis
The toothed belt axis DGE-…-ZR-RF comprises the following modules:
• Drive cover with toothed belt pulley and drive.
• Cylinder barrel with slide with roller bearings on guide rods, driven via clamping bodies at the toothed belt.
4.2.1
Removing the drive covers
• Place the toothed belt axis on the work surface as shown with the slide
facing upwards.
• Lever off the cover caps at both ends from the drive covers.
Note
The screw heads of the socket head screws are filled with locking paint. You
can ensure a secure fit for the Allen key by carefully tapping it into the screw
head using a hammer.
• Loosen the socket head screw in the clamping bodies and unscrew it.
• Move the slide to the left and right to release the clamping bodies from the
slide.
• Push the two clamping bodies out of the axis through the recesses in the
cylinder barrel.
