5.1 General precautionary measures
Warning
Sudden unexpected movements of the connected actua
tors and uncontrolled movements of loose tubing can
cause injury to human beings and/or damage to property.
Before carrying out installation and maintenance work,
switch off the following:
the compressed air supply
the operating and load voltage supplies.
5.2 Dismantling the CPA−SC valve terminal
If the CPA−SC valve terminal is easily accessible, it will not be
necessary to dismantle it to replace or remove components
on the valve locations. If it is necessary to dismantle the valve
terminal (e.g. because of restricted access), proceed as
follows:
Loosen the electrical connections

Loosen the field bus plug and carefully
pull it off
FL connection

Unlock the FL plug by pressing on the
locking lugs
·
Pull the plug away from the
FLconnection
MP connection

Loosen the fastening screws of the
sub−D multipin plug
·
Pull the sub−D plug away from the
sub−base
