3.4.4
USB interfaces
The modular control system CMXR-C2 includes one USB Master.
The USB port [X8] can be used to transfer data and programmes to and from the multi-axis
controller.
The USB port [X10] is currently ineffective

Rotary switches (reserved for expansion)
Two rotary switches are located on the top right-hand side of the central module housing.
These rotary switches are intended for subsequent expansions (factory setting = 0).
3.4.6
CAN interface [X6]
For the motor controller connection, a 9-pin CAN connection is located on the central
control unit (Sub-D plug). This connection is used as the supply line and extension of the
fieldbus line.
Only use appropriate sockets that guarantee a safe plug-in
connection. Sockets from the Festo product range are appropriate
(see Appendix A.2).
