Fieldbus
The working area contains parameter groups to parameterise the communication of the servo drive
with the higher-level controller via the fieldbus. The displayed device parameters depend on the con-
figured servo controller of the drive
"Factor group"
The parameters define in which user unit the values transmitted via the bus are scaled in the servo
drive.
There is a scaling factor for each of the physical variables (position, speed, acceleration and jerk). The
user unit is the same for all of the physical variables.
The servo drive converts the variable into the user unit with the scaling factors.

"CODESYS device driver"
This parameter group is only visible and can be modified under the following prerequisites:
–
In the System Designer of the Festo Automation Suite, there is a connection to a different plug-in

The other plug-in connector is active.
The "Version" field is populated as follows as a function of the "Mode" field:
"Mode"
Contents of "Version"
"Point to point"
Devices for point-to-point operation (ID ends with "_PTP")
"SoftMotion"
Devices for interpolated operation (ID ends with "_SM")
Tab. 36 Content of the "Version"field
Every time the currently set operating mode and version are modified, the corresponding data is trans-
mitted to the connected control components.

Digital I/O
The working area contains parameter groups to configure the digital inputs and outputs.
Depending on the application, different signals can be assigned to some of the digital inputs and out-
puts.

"X1A" and "X1C"
The configurable inputs and outputs are grouped according to the relevant X1A and X1C connectors.
