Note
High−speed travel against the end stop can jam or damage mechanical
components and connections.
S
In the case of travel to the end stop, make sure that the maximum speed of
the reference travel (10 mm/s) is not exceeded.
S
Note that the resulting gripper force depends to a large extent on the speed
at which the workpiece is approached (distance from the workpiece,
parameterising the speed limitation).
1. Start a test run with the existing motor controller programmings.
2. Check to see if the settings on the HGPLE need to be modified.
Deviations in positioning accuracy or overswing of the system could be caused
by the following:
excessive workpiece/gripper finger mass
excessive feed speed.
3. If necessary, repeat the test run.
When all necessary corrections have been made:
4. Conclude the test run.

Operation
W
arning
Unexpected fast−moving masses can cause injury to people or damage to
property (danger of fingers being crushed).
S
Make sure that
Nobody can place his/her hand in the path of the HGPLE (e.g. by providing a
protective crate)
There are no objects obstructing the positioning path.
It must not be possible to touch the HGPLE until the mass has come to rest com
pletely.
