Never refuel the machine close to an open flame.
SPECIAL SAFETY REGULATIONS FOR THE USE OF INTERNAL COMBUSTION MO-
TORS
m
DANGER
Internal combustion motors are a particular danger during operation and re-
fuelling. Always read and follow the warnings. Non-compliance can lead to
severe and even lethal injuries.
1. Do not make any modifications to the machine.
2.
m
CAUTION!
Risk of poisoning! Exhaust fumes, fuel, lubricating oil vapor, sawdust and
lubricants are poisonous. Exhaust fumes must not be inhaled.
3.
m
CAUTION!
Risk of burns! Do not touch the exhaust system and the drive motor.
4. Do not use the machine in unventilated rooms or easily flammable envi-
ronments.
5.
m
Risk of explosion!
Never use the machine in rooms with easily flammable substances.
6. During transport, secure the tool against sliding and tilting.
7. Ensure that no fuel is spilled on the motor or the exhaust during refuel-
ling.
8. Repairs and setting work must be carried out by authorised specialists.
9. Do not touch mechanically moving or hot parts. Do not remove protective
covers.
10. The values specified in Technical Data under sound power level (L
wA
) and
sound pressure level (L
pA
) are emission levels and do not necessarily rep-
resent safe working levels. As there is a connection between emission and
immission levels, it cannot be used reliably to determine potentially re-
quired, additional safety measures. Factors influencing the current em-
ployee‘s immission level include characteristics of the working environ-
ment, other noise sources etc. such as the number of machines and other
nearby processes and the time frame the user is exposed to the noise.
The reliable immission level can also vary by country. However, this infor-
mation will give the machine‘s user the opportunity to carry out a better
risk assessment.
