Introduction
The fusion welding process is used to melt the
workpiece material under the influence of heat
supplied. With electrical arc welding use is also
made of welding material (electrodes). The weld
originates after solidification.
The heat required is obtained by maintaining an
electrical arc between the electrode and
workpiece. The welding process requires a strong
current (55-160 A) with a relatively low voltage
(10-48 V). A transformer in the welding appliance
ensures the lowering of the mains voltage (400 V).
The device is not suitable for commercial use!
