5.9 Dust cover (See K)
Use the dust cover to prevent dust from falling
over the tool and on your self when performing
overhead drilling operations. Attach the dust
cover to the bit as shown in the K.
5.10 Lubrication machine (See L, M)
The machine has a grease-packed lubrication
system. Regularly check if there is sufficient
grease in the box every 10 hours of usage. To
check and to add grease, firstly remove the box
cover with a screwdriver(not provided). Then
use the spanner provided to open the Grease
box. See Fig L-M. If it is not enough, supply
more grease provided with your tool into the
box. The grease specification is general pur-
pose lithium based.
CAUTION:
Keep the container of grease away
from children.
6. CLEANING AND
MAINTENANCE
Before cleaning and maintenance,
always switch off the machine and
remove the mains plug from the mains.
• Regularly clean the housing with a soft cloth.
• Keep the ventilation slots free from dust and
dirt. If necessary, use a soft, moist cloth to
remove dust and dirt from the ventilation
slots.
Lubrication
• Regularly grease the shaft in which the acces

sories must be inserted.
• Regularly check the grease level inside the
machine:
• Remove the cover from the lubrication point
(3) using a screwdriver.
• Remove the cap from the lubrication point
(3).
• If necessary, add some grease into the lubri
-
cation point (3).
• Mount the cap to the lubrication point (3).
• Mount the cover to the lubrication point (3)
using a screwdriver.
• Checking and replacing the carbon brushes .
• The carbon brushes must be checked regu

larly. If the carbon brushes are worn, the
