AC PC Board
•
The AC PC Board is located at the right, front of the cabinet shelf.
•
The PCB slides onto a support that is attached to the cabinet shelf.
•
The wires leading to capacitor are hard-wired to the PCB.
•
Other wires (i.e., bin full sensor and motor wires; control panel cable) can be
disconnected from the board via quick disconnect.
•
If a component that is hard-wired to the main PC board fails, the entire PC board
must be replaced.
(NOTE: Splicing is NOT an acceptable form of repair)
Before replacing the PC board, disconnect the wires (that are not hard-wired) from the PC
board.
CAUTION! Do not reverse the wires on the PC board. Make notes and tag wires as you
remove them from the board. See the wiring diagram. Do not break the hard wired
connections if the board is not being replaced.
To replace the main PC board:
1. Disconnect the power wires from the disconnect switch and the power receptacle.
(See wiring diagram on pg. 25.)
2. Disconnect the 3 motor wires from the main PC board.
3. Disconnect the black and blue wire tabs from the capacitor.
4. Disconnect the bin full PC board cable connector from the PC board.
5. Disconnect the door open
switch wires.
6. Remove the plastic wire crimps that hold the PC board to the support. Lift the PC
board out of the support.
7. Slide the new PC board into the support and secure with wire crimps.
8. Connect all of the wires from the various sensors and components to the new PC
board. (See wiring diagram on pg. 25.)
