Flow Blocked
If at any point during measurement the flow
becomes blocked, the user will be warned with
an error message, ‘Flow Blocked’, and the
pump will turn off and the instrument will exit
the user out to the main menu. Flow may
become blocked while using PolarCept, if
water saturates the hydrophobic filter. Flow
may also be blocked by other physical
obstruction in the tubing including debris and
dust. For safety, it is best to operate the
instrument with the hydrophobic filter attached
to the intake if at risk of pulling water or dust
into the intake.
Sensor Out of Range
The sensor range of the F-940 is 0
–10 ppm.
Damage can occur to the sensor if measuring
ethylene concentrations beyond this range. In
order to protect the sensor from damage, the
instrument will display the warning, ‘Sensor
Out of Range’, and the pump will turn off and
the instrument will exit to the main menu.
