SAFETY MEASURES
CAUTION
•
The pruning shears 06 are a cutting tool designed for
pruning trees, bushes, shrubs and vines. Keep your hands
away from the cutting area. Contact with the blade may
result in injury.
•
Avoid unintended starting. Make sure that switch 01e is in
the off position before connecting the pruning shears 06 to
the control unit 01b.
•
Do not be hasty. Maintain an appropriate position and
balance at all times. That allows better control of the pruning
shears 06 in unexpected situations.
•
FELCO SA shall not be liable in the event of damage
resulting from inappropriate use or use other than that for
which the equipment has been designed.
•
FELCO SA shall also not be liable for damage resulting from
the use of non-original parts or accessories.
•
Use personal protective equipment. Wearing safety
equipment such as gloves, protective eye wear or ear
protection will reduce the risk of injury.
•
Only use FELCO blades in perfect condition. Deformed or
blunt blades can break or have an adverse effect on the
cutting quality.
•
Before working on the pruning shears 06, disconnect the
pruning shears cable 01d and battery from the control unit.
•
Check that the blade of the pruning shears 06 is properly
adjusted. A blade that is not properly adjusted may present
a risk of injury and could damage the pruning shears 06.
•
Beware of flying material that could cause injury or damage
to property. The user and bystanders must wear protective
eye wear.
•
Always wear appropriate shoes and clothing.
