The ID ISC.ANT340/240-A antenna is a single loop antenna which has been optimized for use as
a transmitting and receiving antenna for the ID ISC.MR100 Reader. The Reader transmitting
power of 1 W (max. transmitting power of the antenna) and use of a label 45 x 76 mm
2
in size
(label sensitivity 85 mA/m) allows a reading range of maximum 30 cm when the label is oriented in
parallel to the ID ISC.ANT340/240 antenna. It is also possible to operate the antenna with other
readers having a transmitting frequency of 13.56 MHz and an output impedance of 50
Ω
.
The antenna is factory calibrated to an impedance of 50
Ω
at a distance of 10 cm from metal.
Operation in a metal-free environment is also possible!
The antenna may be used for detecting both product or persons. The preferred orientation of a
Smart Label is parallel to the antenna surface. The maximum range is achieved over the center of
the antenna surface.
