9.1 I Configuration and Test Tool
For reader configuration and general test the Configuration and Test Tool I and FEIG USB driver
are available at the FEIG download area
At www.feig.de/login you can download the manual, driver and software.
Login details:
Username: eccosmart
Password: feig
9.2 Connection by USB
1. Install I and the FEIG USB driver on your PC

Check the USB driver switch is on mode “USB driver” (right mouse click on the icon in the taskbar)
3. Remove the USB protection clip from the device.
4. Connect the device to the USB port of a computer
5. If the ECCO Smart is off, please switch it on, Wait till Win10 has recognized the device
6. Start FEIG Tool I V11.01.00 or newer

Click on the “Detect” button and the Reader Detection window will open

Set the communication interface to USB and click on the “Detect” button in the window
9. The Reader Detection window show the ID ECCO Smart HF-BLE and the actual firmware version

Click on button “Run without change”
and the Window for the detected reader will open
