DRILLING PRECAUTIONS: When drilling holes, check the area you are
drilling into to ensure that you do not damage vehicle components while
drilling. All drilled holes should be de-burred, and all sharp edges should be
smoothed. All wire routings going through drilled holes should be protected
by a grommet or convolute/split loom tubing.
4. Drill two pilot mounting holes at the drill position marks.
5. Secure the mounting bracket to the mounting surface with the #10 thread-
forming screws. See Figure 24.
6. To adjust the angle of the control head, loosen the hinge screws, tilt the control
head forward or backward, and then securely tighten the screws.
