Read Fault Code:
read and display DTC information retrieved from the vehicle system
module
Erase Fault Code:
clear the fault code and freeze frame data retrieved from the
vehicle system module
Read Live Data:
read and display the current system module real-time running
parameters, this option may sometimes display as “real-time data”
Actuation Test:
perform component testing for a specific subsystem
3.5.1 Read Fault Code
Read and display the fault code retrieved from the vehicle system module under test
and explain the fault content, as shown in the following figure.
