Loosen the fastening screw (2) and remove the V-belt guard
(1).

Check condition and tension of the V-belt, tighten if neces-
sary.

Compression measurement:
approx. 5 mm (0.2 in).

Replace a damaged V-belt

1.
Slightly loosen the fastening screws (1) on both sides.
2.
Pull the engine back, until the correct V-belt tension is
reached.
3.
Tighten the fastening screws (1) on both sides.
