To conduct this test, one must turn the apparatus on by holding down the hidden key
found to the right of the counter-thrust ON-OFF key.
CHECK
ON
THE
DISPLAYS
The operational efficiency of all the displays can be checked by pressing down
repeatedly on these keys:
RÉARM.
key: turns on in succession the red, left white, right white, green, right yellow
and
left yellow lights.
RÉARM.
AUTOM.
key: turns on and off all six lights and all the signal lights on the
keys.
FLEUR.
ÉPÉE
SABRE
key: makes it possible to control all the displays on the
scoreboard.
CHECK
ON
WEAPON
CIRCUITS
The display terminal shows 16 numbers that vary depending on the connections made
on the 7 weapon jacks (3 + 3 + platform). Two checks are to be made:
With
the
weapons
unattached
(disconnect the 7 jacks): all the figures must fall
between 960 and 984 (see Note 1).
With
the
weapons
short-circuited
(short-circuiting among the 7 jacks): all the figures
must fall between 316 and 340 (see Note 1).

:
With
the
exception
of
the
figure
in
the
lower
right-hand
corner,
a
figure
which
must
be
less
than
5.
To conclude the test, turn the apparatus off and then on again.
