Following Safe Transport
Procedures

C. Reflector Tape
D. Reflectors
CAUTION: When transporting the
machine on a road or highway at night
or during the day, use warning lights
and devices for adequate warning to
operators of other vehicles.
Check local governmental regulations.
Various safety devices are available from
your Fast Ag Solutions dealer. Keep safety
items in good condition. Replace missing or
damaged items.
Upward force on hitch may cause instability
when transporting. Add BALLAST to tractor
as required.
BEWARE of overhead wires and narrow
gates. KNOW the transport height and width
of your machine. (See Machine Dimensions
& Specifications .)
Travel at a reasonable and safe speed;
REDUCE speed over rough or uneven
terrain, slopes, and when turning. See
Observe Maximum Transport Speed .
BE SURE SMV emblem, reflectors, and
warning lights are clean, visible, and in good
condition.
Preparing the Machine for
Transport
Fold Boom for Transport
A. Left Wing Tilt Switch
B. Main Wing Height Switch
C. Right Wing Tilt Switch
D. Main Wing Fold Switch
E. Flip Wings Fold Switch
1. Raise the center section with the
Main Wing Height Switch (B) to its
highest position.
2. Rotate the flip wings with the Flip
Wings Fold Switch (E) to their
transport position.
3. Tilt the main wings up with Tilt
Switches (A) and (C).
4. Rotate the main wings with the Main
Wing Fold Switch (D) to their
backstops.
5. Lower the boom assembly with Main
Wing Height Switch (B) into its
transport supports.
6. Install the transport lock pins.
7. Close the boom lift cylinder line valve.
8. Boom is in transport position.
