Training Overview

Welcome to the FARO training for the FARO Focus

laser scanner and

FARO SCENE software. This manual is designed for FARO’s three-

day training. You will learn how to use the Focus

laser scanner to

scan three-dimensional objects, use FARO SCENE software to register

and refine captured data, and, if needed, prepare the data for third-party

software applications.
This training is designed to provide a strong foundation for you to start

using the laser scanner. It outlines the tasks that are essential, as well as

some of the tasks that are optional. This training is not intended to cover

every task that can be accomplished.
The information, settings, and activities in this training have been

verified using the Focus

X 330; details may vary with other scanner

models.
