YOUR
FAN
A- Unpack your fan and check the contents. Do not discard the carton. If warranty replacement or repair is ever
necessary, the fan should be returned in original packaging. Remove all parts and hardware. Do not lay motor housing
on its side- the decorative housing may become bent or damaged. B- Examine all parts. You should have the following:
Remote control transmitter and receiver is included. Fan can also be operated from wall mounted fan/light control
instead of remote control if desired.
PREPARATION:
Verify you have all parts before beginning the installation. Check foam insert closely for missing parts. Remove motor
from packing. To avoid damage to finish, assemble motor on soft padded surface or use the original foam inset in motor
box.
Do not lay fan on its side as this could result in shifting of motor in decorative enclosure.
INSTALLING THE MOUNTING BRACKET:
Attach the hanger bracket to outlet box using screws provided with oulet box. Install square rubber washer between
bracket and outlet box to reduce vibration of metel to metal surface.
To reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock or persona injury, mount to outlet box market acceptable for fan support and
usemounting screws provided with the outlet box. Most outlet
boxes commonly used ofr the support lighting fixtures are not
acceptable for fan support and may need to be replaced. Cosuit
qualified electrician if in doubt.
The Outlet box is not included
INSTALLING THE FAN
YOKE & DOWNROD ASSEMBLY
1- feed motor lead wires throught downrod assembly & canopy.
Insert down rod into yoke. Make sure the gasket on top o
downrod assembly is properly inserted for effective water
proofing.
